WINFIELD RACING SCHOOL is the iconic and historical racing school born first at Magny-Cours, France, in 1964 before opening a second racing school at Circuit Paul Ricard, Le Castellet, in the early 1970’s. The Winfield Racing School has a long history in the Motorsport industry. From the mid 1960s to the 1990s, more than 30 000 pupils from all over the world passed through this famous school to try to win the coveted « Volant WINFIELD » that rewarded the best talent of each year by funding a full season in competition.
In this way, Winfield has been the nursery for most of the well- known drivers from the 70s to the 90s. More than 30 F1 drivers in total including Alain Prost, Damon Hill, Jacques Laffite, Christian Danner, Jean Alesi and Olivier Panis started their career with Winfield, making it unique in the entire motorsport history with an unparalleled legacy and giving to the brand a record of 5 World Championship titles in F1, more than 90 victories in the same discipline as well as 6 victories at Le Mans 24H and many others race records…
